NASCO Honored with Top Workplaces Award by the Atlanta-Journal Constitution
ATLANTA (March 27, 2017) – NASCO, a leader in innovative healthcare IT solutions, is proud to announce that it has been named one of Atlanta’s Top 150 Workplaces by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC)! The 2017 award marks NASCO’s sixth consecutive year of being recognized as a Top Workplace.
The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution and Connection, just to name a few.
“The Top Workplaces award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits,” says Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day — the employees. Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there and the feeling that everyone is in it together. Claffey adds, “Without this sense of connection, an organization doesn’t have a shot at being named a Top Workplace.”
“Each year that NASCO has been recognized as one of The AJC’s Top Workplaces is proof that how our company is run, the strategic direction we are headed, the practices we have in place, the culture we have created and the year-over-year accomplishments we have made, are a testament to the associates of NASCO.
“I take great pride in being not only a member of the management team, but also an associate of this great company. Oftentimes it is said that NASCO has maintained the ‘family’ feel within the company, and our goal is to provide the best we can for our family. We take pride in the ability to maintain challenging work opportunities, flexible work options, attractive and safe office spaces, competitive benefits and compensation and happy customers. We are honored to have been selected for the award, particularly as the judges were our associates,” said Barbara Bell-Dees, NASCO Vice President of Human Resources and People Services.
On Sunday, March 26, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution published “Top Workplaces 2017” – a complete list of the 150 best places to work in the Atlanta metro area. NASCO’s company profile can also be found on AJC.com.
